Cream Cheese Burgers

3/4 lb. lean ground beef
Sea Salt
Black Pepper
6 oz cream cheese
1 serrano pepper
3 thick slices from a large tomato
2 T guacamole
3 small hamburger buns

Divide ground beef and shape into three patties. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook till well done.


Meanwhile chop serrano pepper and mix with cream cheese. Split buns on one side spread guacamole and top with slice of tomato. Place hamburger pattie on other half of bun and top with 1/3 of the cream cheese - serrano mix. A variation would be to use jalapenos instead of serrano. Since the jalapeno is a larger pepper it's not necessary to mix it with the cream cheese. Just top patties with cream cheese, then top cream cheese with jalapeno slices.
