2 lg chicken breasts
1/2 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
1 cup panko crumbs
canola oil
Cut chicken breasts in half, as if you are going to butterfly them but cut all the way through. Cut each half in half lengthwise, this should give you eight chicken strips.
Dip the the strips in BBQ sauce, then in the panko crumbs. Heat oil over med-hi heat.
Once oil is hot add the chicken strips and cook until done, three to five minutes on each side.
Serve and enjoy!

Yumm!!! What a great recipe, I'll have to give this one a try. B likes bbq sauces, but I'm not too fond of messy foods. I think this would work out great for both of us!
ReplyDeleteI'm the same way about messy foods but I do like the flavor of BBQ so this worked out great.

ReplyDeleteLove the idea of the BBQ sauce on the inside! I'm not too fond of drippy messy BBQ either.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking, Terry. I should be back up and running with another potluck this week.
Thanks! Looking forward to this weeks linkup. I loved the sauce on the inside so much I plan on trying it on other things with different sauces as well.
