Well as usual life happened this week and things on the menu got moved around. The tortilla soup still hasn't happened, primarily because the weather warmed up, not really the weather for soup here right now. It is supposed to be cooler again by the end of this week, so maybe then.
Date "night" also got changed around a bit. Since I had to work Sat night we decided to go out Sun. Then it changed from dinner to lunch. We visited the local Chinese place and ran into some old friends, they joined us and we had a great time visiting. Then we headed to the gun show, fun stuff! Sometimes change can be a good thing, if we had done our usual dinner, we would not have run into our friends!
Keeping this weeks menu really simple, especially on Wed and Thurs, those are the days I work 3pm to 11pm, so I try to do just a simple lunch. So here is what I will be attempting this week:

Burritos with Red Sauce and Guacamole (L)

Shredded Venison Sandwiches* with Fries
